WHO WE ARE
VitaminDaily.com is the brainchild of co-founders Tara Parker Tait and Sarah Bancroft. The duo started VitaminV.ca, the company’s first online magazine, in September 2004 after seeing a gap in the marketplace for timely tips about their home base of Vancouver, Canada. Today, they oversee five city-based websites, Montreal, French Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver as well as a national Moms and Kids edition.

Sarah Bancroft
Co-founder & Editor-in-Chief
Daily Dose Media Inc. co-founder Sarah Bancroft is one of Western Canada’s foremost trend experts on matters of style and shopping. She has appeared on TV programs such as “Canada’s Next Top Model,” “Fashion File” and Britain’s “Big Boutique,” MCs high profile fashion events and writes features for Canada’s National Post. She holds a Masters Degree in Political Science from UBC and worked in Paris, New York and L.A. as a fashion buyer for the national chain Aritzia, managing seasonal budgets in excess of $10 million. Though she loved the clothing allowance, she left to pursue a career in journalism, first as Associate Editor at Vancouver magazine, then for six years as the Western Editor of FASHION Magazine. She is fluent in English and French and all matters sartorial.

Tara Parker Tait
Co-founder & Publisher
As principal of Tara Parker Tait PR, Tara is one of Vancouver’s most sought-after media- and public- relations specialists. Her high-profile client list is comprised of fashion as well as some of the city’s best restaurants. Prior to launching her own firm in 2005, Tara was a media-relations specialist at Tourism British Columbia and worked in-house as an Account Manager at one of the top three corporate communications firms in the city. A native of Montreal, she holds a BA from Bishop’s University, has lived and worked in Latin America, and speaks English, French and Spanish. When not chained to her BlackBerry, her hobby is surfing for Alexander Wang tees online.
Maria Tallarico
Managing Editor (on leave)
Born-and-raised in Vancouver, Maria began her publishing career as an intern for an author and NYU professor in New York, and has since written for several lifestyle and travel publications. She holds an Editing Certificate from the SFU Writing and Publishing program and was a staff writer at FASHION Magazine. Her hobbies include analyzing blind vices and reading www.dlisted.com
Kelsey Mulyk
Managing Editor
With more than 26 countries under her belt including a two-year roadtrip that took her from her hometown of Calgary to the tip of South America, Kelsey tempered her travel bug and returned to Calgary where she worked for both Avenue magazine and up! magazine before she made the move out west to join the Vitamin Daily team. A bit of a Jack (Jane?) of all trades she has worked in advertising, communications and exhibition design but online publishing is what she is really passionate about. When she's not drooling over the latest J.Crew catalogue, Kelsey can usually be found blogging, re-hashing her last surfing experience, studying the intricacies of Spanish grammar or planning her next big adventure.

Tonya Bosa
Western Sales Manager
After seven years in Calgary, Tonya decided to trade the Stampede for the Coal Harbour seawall (after all, how many cowboys can one girl handle?). After spending five years in the modeling industry and two years in radio advertising, she brings a Fashion Merchandising and Business Administration Entrepreneurship educational background to Vitamin Daily. Catch her snowboarding, golfing, wakeboarding or dashing to a big city hotspot (read: Paris, London, NYC) for late-night adventure. Christine Laroche
Montreal Editor (English)
After completing a Bachelor of Journalism at Concordia University, Christine went on to parlay her love of pretty pictures and pithy prose into a career in magazine journalism at LOULOU. During her four years as a fashion editor there, she interviewed top designers, tweeted from the front row at New York Fashion Week and filled countless pages with her sharp editorial voice. In her spare time, she is slightly obsessed with
scouring sales racks, practicing yoga (mainly for an excuse to shop Lululemon), and
keeping up with the Kardashians.

Elsa Vecchi

From interviewing top designers on her own fashion talk show on Television France 5 to covering the Paris fashion shows, Elsa is our Gallic go-to gal for all things "mode." She adores her adopted hometown of Montreal with its excellent restaurants and great vintage shopping. A contributor to the magazine for Paris' Hotel Costes, she's always on the look for worldly discoveries and fashion finds. With schooling in France and at New York's Columbia University, this French/German/English speaker epitomizes the globetrotting Vitamin Daily girl.

Athena Tsavliris

This Hellenic fashionista spent her formative years on London’s Kings Road before skipping across the pond and landing in Toronto. After completing her post-graduate studies in journalism, Athena launched her career at the Town Crier, soon becoming a go-to for Torontonians looking to source anything from Manuka to Manolos. Her brand of sardonic posh has been featured on the pages of the National Post and FASHION Magazine. She made her small screen debut on “Breakfast Television” with a chat about Toronto style. A regular globetrotter, Athena is fluent in four languages. She can be pushing a stroller around Kensington with her gorgeous daughter Iole in tow.

Jaelyn Molyneux
Calgary Editor
While earning her Canadian Studies degree from the University of
Calgary Jaelyn managed to earn credit for writing essays academic essays
citing Beverly Hills 90210 (the original version) and Remember The Titans.
Pop culture was her de facto major that led to career in journalism
starting at Swerve magazine where events in the Calgary from club shows
to opera openings were her beat. She is now the associate editor of Avenue magazine
in charge of the city magazine’s fashion, décor and the annual shopping
guide. When she isn’t collecting recipe books or contemplating the
reasonable limits of shoe ownership she is planning her next 72-hour
weekend in a weekend along the West coast.

Kelsey is a writer, fashion fiend, travel addict, design lover, music fanatic and photographer wannabe. A Vancouverite right down to her Hunter wellies, she has a serious passion for the arts and holds a BA in English Literature from UBC. She has contributed dance reviews to the Georgia Straight, lifestyle pieces to the Tyee and is a copywriter at one of Vancouver's leading advertising agencies. Kelsey is also the face of The Anthology, a blog that celebrates the style side of lifestyle. Her biggest claim to fame? She was once a backup dancer for Weird Al Yankovic.
Anya Georgijevic

Anya studied art and architecture at Alberta College of Art and Design and the University of British Columbia, including a stint as a Yale fellow. A couple of decades of a serious fashion obsession and a very overstuffed closet led her to found her much-loved blog, I'm the It Girl. Since then, she has been featured in FASHION Magazine and her writing published in FLARE
and The Block. Addicted to all things beauty and a self-proclaimed "lipstick hoarder," she considers nail polish testing to be perfectly acceptable office work.
Alexandra Suhner Isenberg

Born and raised in Canada, Alexandra made her escape to Europe at 19 to pursue a career in fashion, and she spent the next twelve years doing just so. During her years in Paris and London she did an MA at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, was a designer for Sonia Rykiel and Burberry, ran her own luxury lingerie company, and worked as a trend forecaster. But even Europe can get boring, and in 2009 Alexandra packed up her shoes and returned to her hometown of Vancouver. With her vast industry knowledge and appreciation of craftsmanship, Alexandra's fashion opinion is one worth listening to. She also shares her thoughts on the state of fashion at her blog, Searching for Style.

Our gal-about-town comes with an impressive resume (including stints as an intern at both FASHION Magazine and Anna Sui in New York) and a keen eye for art and style. Sarah's love of late afternoon learning has taken her on many academic adventures: she has studied at five universities in three countries, ending with a double major in Psychology and Botony (so not only can she grow plants, she can analyze their psyches as well). After graduating in Film Studies from Queen’s University, Marianne began her career as a producer in Montreal’s flourishing feature film industry. Following a stint in New York City, she made her way across the pond to produce lifestyle, fashion and entertainment segments for the UK’s top breakfast show, GMTV. Returning home, she reported on Montreal’s booming arts and culture scene for Global Québec. Despite having a Master’s degree in English literature from McGill university, Vicki Hogarth has been happily typecast as a celebrity journalist, having in interviewed the likes of Justin Timberlake, Keira Knightley and Kanye West as the former Senior Editor of the late Strut magazine. When Strut closed its doors in 2008, she then worked as the Passport Editor for enRoute magazine, before embarking on a full-time freelance career for a wide range of publications, from Reader’s Digest to xoJane.com. Vicki spends her free time working on her first novel, discretely reading Us Weekly on newsstands and collecting kitschy Eiffel towers.

and Thought Catalog. She has two cats, a loft near Roncesvalles, a good
man and a highly entertaining Twitter account.
Her likes include bleach, doomed romances, stripes, disposable cameras,

Associate editor of Edmonton’s first local indie fashion and lifestyle mag, Parlour Magazine, for three years, Caroline’s also freelanced for Vue Weekly and the Edmonton Journal. Returning to E-town for love, she’s now the Alberta Reporter for FASHION Magazine, and, despite years consumed by sport,
boosts her 6-foot tall stature with 3-inch heels at any social event she can.
