Heidi Merrick had a very envious upbringing. Her mother owned a surfshop and her father designed surf boards. We somehow doubt there was a lack of gorgeous surfers surrounding her during her teenage years.

But since we can’t go back in time and live that life, we can try to emulate the laid back, summery lifestyle we associate with this beautiful Californian brand. Think brightly coloured silk dresses inspired by 80’s surf, and full length cotton gauze dresses in earthy tones reminiscent of the beach.

Even if you aren’t going to be going to California this summer, you can imagine yourself there with Heidi Merrick’s summer collection. Just don’t try surfing in the long dress.
