Game Face
If washing our face was like being a contestant on The Wheel of Fortune, we’d ask to buy a consonant, not a vowel.
Winning words like “natural” and “organic” describe the foaming face wash ($18) from Canadian skin care line Consonant. Feather light and refreshing, it’s sans synthetics and loaded with the natural goodness of tea tree and grape seed oils. Have yours unscented or with an air of citrus bergamot. Purchase the wash as a part of their three piece 30 Day Challenge Kit ($90) and they’ll give you back your cash if you’re anything but pleased with the products. That’s good game.

Ladies Who Launch
Business class, VIP rooms and backstage passes: sometimes the best things in life are elite.
That must explain why we're besotted with the luxe and lovely Chantecaille line from New York, whose counter opens this week at Holt Renfrew. The combination of florals, cutting-edge skin care science and a serious commitment to environmentalism is intoxicating. A family business with the impossibly chic French matriarch Sylvie Chantecaille at the helm (she launched the trailblazing Prescriptives line for Estee Lauder), eco-conscious daughter Alex travels the world as Director of Sales and designer-darling Olivia is the Creative Director—when she isn't front row at the Philip Lim show or being photographed for Style.com.
We’re hooked on the Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser ($62); made with such a high concentration of top notch ingredients (rice bran, geranium, seaweed and green tea leaves), only a small dollop is needed for a thorough cleanse. .
We may never make it to the style pages of Paris Match, but at least we can save face like a socialite.
