Secrets of the Amazon
There is a reason we use the phrase “Amazonian Beauty”: the Amazon rainforest is filled with magical ingredients.
One of them is the restorative oil called Rahua, the star ingredient in Rahua’s Voluminous Shampoo ($32) and Conditioner ($32) that we are just gaga over. This all-natural and vegan hair care line was created in partnership with Amazonian nations, so you know they mean business. Before you can say “Brazilian Supermodel,” your hair will regain its lustre and that expensive salon dye job just might last a little bit longer. —Anya GeorgijevicAt Kiss & Makeup, H5 - 925 Main St., West Vancouver, 604-922-6292, http://kissandmakeupstore.com/collections/rahua

Seanol, a beauty brand founded by two sisters in Korea, are products made from a purified, high potency extract of brown algae found only off the coast of Jeju Island in South Korea. Its Procava shampoo and conditioner works wonderfully, doing the job of both products. We’ve been using it at the gym (so much easier than carrying two big bottles around) and it will also be our travel essential.
The product can be used sparingly, and its 100ml tube doesn’t exceed the carry-on liquid limitations when flying
