    Big Kid Beds

Designing a nursery is easy. There is a ton of choice, and let’s face it, babies don’t really notice their rooms.

Decor gets more complicated for children and teens. Kids need a space that reflects their personality and style, but without compromising the taste of their parents. Which is why it came as great news that PB Teen now ships internationally.

The PB stands for Pottery Barn, and the stock reflects that: stylish and reasonably priced. The site sells great bedding and bathroom accessories but the study spaces are probably our favourite.

Now you won’t feel bad for sending them to their room. —ASI

    Sex, Lies and Senior Year

“Maybe the past is like an anchor holding us back. Maybe, you have to let go of who you were to become who you will be…”

But just who was Carrie Bradshaw before her column, before Big and before she met her three best friends? In The Carrie Diaries, SATC fans finally find out.

Readers join Carrie for her senior year at Castlebury High, where she grapples with crushes and cliques, family and fashion, swim team, suburbia and (of course) sex. As she begins to discover her writing voice, the young Bradshaw learns that even the hottest guy in town can’t compete with her big city dreams.

She’s no Judy Blume, but Candace Bushnell is shockingly good at teen fiction. We would happily read the Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte Diaries too.

    Okay, maybe just Samantha’s.
