FUNCTION IN THE JUNCTION

It’s been ten years since prohibition was lifted in The Junction, and now residents are set to do away with their inhibitions as the community’s Art Festival swings into effect.

Soak up juried art exhibitions peppering Dundas Street as you weave your way through shimmying belly dancers, twirling acrobats, and local artists peddling their wears.

In this part of town, anything goes. We hope to stumble across the Poetry Peepshow or Junction-born Justin Rutledge (whose peepers are a dreamy blue) crooning of heartbreak.

Eat your heart out, Cabbagetown.

Junction Arts Festival, September 3–7, Dundas St. W., (between Keele and Jane), Toronto, www.junctionartsfest.com
