NOSE FOR A ROSE
The Egyptians had the right idea of using essential oils and flowers to keep their homes and linens smelling Neroli sweet.
Next time you’re giving your pillowcases a press, sprinkle a dash of Miss Spencer’s rose-scented water ($10) on them. Based on a recipe dating back to the 1600s, the linen water is so delicate and subtle you could equally use it as a perfume, a hair rinse or a room freshener. Plus the charming little glass bottle makes for a pretty nightstand vase once the water is done.
Sweet dreams.
