Ditto re: Deb at Bent Beauty in Yaletown. You have to book ahead but she is amazing - and doesn't tweeze you pencil thin which is my biggest fear!

Head to Fraser & 51st, It's on the edge of Punjabi Market. They do threading. Not learned at school, but passed down by generation. They are awesome and cheap.
$6-$8, they color as well and do your upper lip. They are excellent at doing the shaping so it suits your face and style. Really, they are fab! DD

Maybe it's because I'm cheap - but I drive from N Van to get my eyebrows done at Sultan Cuts at 49th and Main in the Punjabi Market. For a mere $8, the two ladies there do an amazing job of threading my brows. Perfect everytime, takes 3 minutes. And then I stock up on samosas and curry before I head back home. Honeybean
