Beckham’s boxers
Top of the morning to you, David!
While we’ll make any excuse to gawk at Mr. Posh Spice in his skivves, we have an especially good one this morning as his collection of bodywear is launching at H&M today.
Following in the Mrs.’ designer footsteps, the football player has concocted a collection of men’s basics for H&M, including boxers (from $14.95) and a t-shirt ($17.95).
His tank ($17.95) has quickly become a fave with the ladies, if only because “We’re wearing David Beckham’s tank top” is a phrase we just can’t get enough of.—Christine Laroche

Gender Bender
Baggy Tees and just three pairs of shoes. We’ve never coveted our man’s wardrobe. Until now.
The Smooth Company’s SoCal-inspired menswear line includes soft shirts, clam digger pants and chambray parkas evoking fireside cuddles and lazy walks on the beach. But the best part is how great they look on us. We’ve got our eye on a blue-and-white shirt ($95) we’ll wear loose over leggings, and plaited chinos ($135) we’ll glam up with a fitted blazer and sky-high Pierre Hardy booties.Sorry boys, sharing is caring.

Twisted Mister
Sure your baby daddy has traded in his vinyl collection for Raffi CDs and his skateboard for a diaper bag, but you can help him recapture a teensy bit of his twisted youth.
UK-based Twisted Twee has Father's Day presents sure to pass the test of cool dads everywhere. There's the dad and mini twin set made from 100 per cent organic cotton and shipped in a reusable canvas bag ($60) and a Dad pillow case perfect for an afternoon snooze (because his sleeping in days are done!).But if you ever catch him complaining about the good old days, show him your stretch marks.

Off the Cuff
When Father's Day panic sets in (does he really need another man-purse or pair of Paul Smith socks?) Green Shag comes to the rescue.
The Canadian bespoke men's etailer now makes custom cufflinks from your children’s artwork, so Dad can truly wear his heart on his sleeve. Go through the piles of fun drawings your little Basquiat has created and pick out a favorite (thankfully, abstracts look best) to turn into your next family heirloom.
How’s that for an early lesson in Dadaism?
$200 for first pair, $80 for second matching pair. Deadline for Father's Day orders is mid-April.

DAPPER DUO
Finally, our favorite menswear shop is living up to its name.
Duo has opened a second store right next door that carries higher-end items. Designed by Jean-Guy Chabauty of Moderno, the new space has a fetching yellow floor and a selection of goods to make any fashion-forward male (and his female) swoon: Calvin Klein suits, Alessandro Dell’Acqua high tops, giant U-Boat watches, and aviators from Marc Jacobs.
Our boy’s fall favorite? A black single-breasted Alexander McQueen suit paired with a skull-patterned skinny tie. Double delight.

DEMOCRATIC DRESSING
If your man’s idea of high fashion is a trip to Value Village, frog march him straight to Maison Simons.
Montréal couturier Philippe Dubuc recently launched his brand new Philippe Dubuc pour Simons. His first collection, Man and His World, is an homage to Expo ’67…with a modern twist. A crisp Officer’s shirt is adorned with buttoned epaulettes and flap pockets ($58) while a Mao collared jacket is modernized with distressed leather, pouch pockets and metal eyelets ($395).
Affordable and stylish, Dubuc calls it his “democratic” line of men’s fashion. And because it won’t break your boy’s bank, he’ll have plenty of cash left over take you to dinner. Now that’s democracy.
