With so many websites devoted to Very Serious Topics like fashion, celeb gossip and food, sometimes we just want to click on a laugh or two to lighten our workday.

When our daily grind calls for a giggle we turn to Hyperbole and a Half by blogger/illustrator Allie Brosh. We completely identified with her tale of how Kenny Loggins ruined Christmas and can no longer say “a lot” without thinking about the Alot. But her scientific comparison of the merits of cake vs. pie had us rolling in the aisles (which pleased our boss to no end, we’re sure).
