The bad girl’s club
The countdown to Christmas is (almost) on but we’re sacrificing our spot on Santa’s nice list.
The culprit is none other than Agent Provocateur, the British lingerie brand known for its ultra-sassy knickers, corsets and whips, and its newly opened shop-in-shop at Holt Renfrew. Our cold nights needed a little something tantalizingly sumptuous, and AP has definitely delivered. This season, naughty is the new nice. Sorry Santa! —Christine Laroche

Laval Gets Its Wings
We’ve been waiting for it (admittedly, our boyfriends have been impatient too!) and it’s finally here: Quebec’s first Victoria’s Secret location is open at Carrefour Laval.
That’s 11,000 square feet of va-va-voom bras, undies and lingerie, plus swimwear and beauty to boot. Prefer sweats and boyshorts? Think PINK – Victoria’s Secret’s varsity-inspired collection. From now on, every time someone takes exit 10 off the 15 north, an angel gets its wings.—Christine Laroche

Full disclosure
Our idea of “racy” these days is wearing undies instead of long johns.
For sexy time tips and tricks, we’re grabbing our best (19+) gals and heading to the Salon de l’amour et de la Seduction, where we’ll check out the burlesque demos, blush with the best of ‘em at a racy conferences and collect as much boudoir-ready swag as possible.
Here’s to bringing sexy back, and hopefully getting inspired to swap the Sorels for something like these perfect-for-V-day Charlotte Olympias ($875). – Christine Laroche.

Seamless Comfort
There’s a reason we only wear bras and thong panties during the day. They’re not usually comfortable for more than 12 hours at a time.
Finally we found a line of finery with a fabric and fit that won’t leave us fidgeting in our seats. The Miel Sisters soft, seamless skivvies feel perfectly comfortable from day to night. We love the Luna mid-rise thong ($20) under everything from jeans to jammies and the sweet Mimi bandeau ($25) to give us a little added coverage under our deep Vs, or just to keep our girls contained while we toss and turn.
Finally. Comfortable lingerie that lasts as long as we do. —Jennifer Nachshen

Get Your Panties in a Bunch
They say clothes make the man. We say lingerie makes the woman.
Wearing sweet and sexy undergarments by Global Love not only increases your feminine mystique, it also helps empower women in developing countries, with five percent of proceeds going to FINCA, an organization that offers microfinance opportunities to women. Go adorably retro in the Moonlight in Moscow set ($36), or play it coy with the Paris 2 a.m. bodysuit. For those who like just a little bit of lace, we love the sweet and sexy Marion knickers.
As Elle (The Body) MacPherson once said: “If you’re wearing lingerie that makes you feel glamorous, you're halfway there to turning heads.” —Jennifer Nachshen

Pretty Panties
It seems like women have two choices when it comes to looking sexy: fancy lingerie that doesn’t do anything for the figure, and sizable scuba suits that only look good under clothes.
And if you’ve ever suffered the indignity of trying to remove a pair of figure-fixing undergarments in mixed company, you’ve probably wished for a lighter option. We found balance in Body Wrap’s Sheer Iridesscent Collection, blending bodyshaping technology with pretty prints and styles. We’re replacing our boring beige briefs with pin-up worthy polka dots and florals in sweet styles like the Lift & Hide Cami ($54.40) and the Sculpt & Shape Bodysuit ($64.40).
With skivvies this cute, it’s almost a shame to cover them up with clothes. —JN

Lacy and racey
All women feel a little bit sexier wearing pretty lingerie. So even if you happen to be your own Valentine this year, you can put on these pretty pink pieces under your power suit and let your confidence shine through.
We love the retro feel of the Kamma balconette ($58) and high-waisted panty ($36) by CHANGE Lingerie. But the red accents add a naughty appeal for the modern woman.

No Crying Over Cashmere
This year, instead of airing our dirty laundry, we're washing it.
Eco-friendly products by The Laundress will keep our togs in tip-top condition. We’ll spruce up our sweaters using the sulphate-free Wool and Cashmere shampoo ($20) and clean our intimates with the Delicate Wash ($20). For time-pressed days there’s Fabric Fresh ($15), an anti-bacterial odour remover that gives the illusion of fresh-off-the-line spotlessness.
Squeaky clean in appearance, and in reputation.
