We often buy off the rack.
And now we can buy off the DIY rack. At Sheila Wong’s funky little drop-in sewing studio we can pick an on-trend piece (like, oh… say, a maxi skirt) and unleash our inner seamstress. For $58 we’ll get materials, instructions, and 3.5 hours of studio time, which is just enough to add this season’s must-have piece to our wardrobe.
Oh, and the “I made this myself” bragging rights? They’re part of the package too. —Kelsey Dundon
