A stitch in time
No machine can compete with the art of hand-stitching.
After a stint in Paris honing her sewing and leather working techniques, local artisan Laurie Anderson is crafting beautiful, butter soft bags under her debut label, Lilisac.
We know quality craftsmanship when we see it, and Anderson’s work is really lovely. It’s the ones that combine pure Scottish wool (in various tweeds) with leather accents that caught our eye.
Paired with her equestrian boots and a felt topper, we can totally see the Duchess of Cambridge sporting one on her next country outing. —Athena Tsavliris
