Sleeping Beauty
If you've ever borrowed your beau's clothes to sleep in, you know the pleasures of sleeping in a breezy, roomy shirt.
And now you can pretend you're having an impromptu sleepover every night with the new Canadian-made The Sleep Shirt. Made of ultra-soft, pinstriped premium cotton, the short version lands just above the knees and looks great buttoned low with the cuffs turned up.
Based on the Euro-chic nightshirts of the 19th Century (Karl Lagerfeld is a fan), this great garment is designed by our very own Fashion Editor Alexandra Suhner Isenberg, based on a prototype she found in London's Spitalfields market.
But why borrow her husband's sleep shirt when she can have her very own? That's progress. —Sarah Bancroft
