A Reason to Vegan
Eating right in the urban jungle can be a challenge.
Thankfully, The Green Panther is doing its part to help us along. This new vegan lunch spot serves up organic goodies with pesticide-free veggies sourced directly from local farmers. Get your mid-day fill on mixed baby-green salads with quinoa, yam and tempeh (from $4) and date-based energy balls made blending raw cacao, maca and chili ($3). You’ll appease some guilt with the corn-based biodegradable take-out containers (better yet, bring your own and save 50 cents).
We suggest heading straight for the sublime Yemen-style falafel (from $6) washed down with an agave-sweetened smoothie ($5.50) mixed with superfoods like Goji berries and blue-green algae.
Prrrr….
