The New Meaning of Pin-up
If you’re constantly clipping magazine pages of looks you love and bookmarking blogs with to-die-for decor, you may want to check out Pinterest.
Pinterest calls itself a “virtual pinboard.” In other words, it’s a place to collect pictures of the things you discover online but, in typical fashion, can’t find weeks later when you finally have time to browse the racks.
It’s a godsend for anyone brainstorming an event, design project or wardrobe refresh as you can organize pictures on themed boards you name yourself, such as “Spring Style Inspiration,” “Bouquets and Bridesmaid,” or “Recipes to Try” and so on. Oh, and no surprise, it’s connected to Twitter, so you can follow other users' pinboards for inspiration.
Our work productivity may have plummeted but we’re a lot more confident about our New Year's Eve outfit.
