A Modest Proposal
After watching the royal wedding many of our girlfriends are waiting on their prince for a ring of their own. But how can he possibly beat a proposal in Africa with an 18-karat sapphire sparkler?
The Place d’Armes Hotel and Birks have teamed up for the Dazzling Marriage Proposal package ($11,000) that includes two nights in a petal-strewn penthouse suite (appointed with a bottle of Moët & Chandon, a bouquet of roses and chocolate dipped strawberries), a six-course dinner with wine pairings at Aix Cuisine du Terroir, and a couples massage at Rainspa. Oh, did we mention that the Amorique diamond ring is included (value of $10,000, with option to upgrade)? The only question left for him to answer is how and when he’ll slip that sparkler on your finger.
