Me and Miami
Not every girl comes to South Beach to party her pants off. I, for one, come for feel-good food, super deluxe spa treatments and long walks on its warm and windy beach.
stay
We stay at the Betsy Hotel (classic, chic and away from the club beats) but Hotel Tonight allows you to snag a room at a luxe hotel for a shadow of the official rate.
eat
Between the fabulous food, imaginative décor and people watching possibilities (Maria Sharapova was at the table next to us at The Dutch last week) dining in Miami is always an experience. My personal favourite is Casa Tua, a charming, family-run restaurant serving simple and delicious Italian food.
shop
Hop in cab and head to the Design District for your pick of galleries, boutiques and cutting edge home décor. I can’t resist a peek inside the Louboutin store, and don’t miss out on Margiela, Tomas Maier, Jonathan Adler and Driade to name a few.

You can rent a bicycle and explore deco-style South Beach or simply walk along the palm tree lined boardwalk. Daredevils can give kite surfing a go while the relaxation-seekers head to Cowshed.—Athena Tsavliris
