I Scream, You Scream
We all scream for a summer treat that meets our high taste expectations. Village Ice Cream heard our pleas and produces small-batch artisan ice cream.
It’s just getting started with flavours including vanilla, cardamom, huckleberry and maple walnut. Spices are ground fresh. Nuts come directly from the farm. And, fruits are chosen because of their local connection.
The ice cream is sold by the pint ($8) every Friday from noon until 6 p.m.
You’ll have to work a little find the store. It’s tucked in a peach building one block north of the Arriva Tower. But, the hunt makes the treat taste that much sweeter. —Jaelyn Molyneux
