Hit Your Stride
When Leonardo da Vinci painted Catherine de Medici on her wedding day in 1533, he added some extra height to her heels. Today, Medici would have no problem finding a three-inch killer heel to stride up the aisle in.
As heels keep getting more vertiginous, we turn to the shoes of Toronto cobbler, Abel Munoz. His spring 2010 collection (from $525) ranges from a dangerously high black lizard stiletto to metallic peep-toes we could catch a bus in.
We love this shoe in raspberry suede with tassels and an ankle strap. It might not make it to the altar, but it’s definitely going dancing.
