We're big believers in stashing healthy emergency snacks. But a lot of popular bars have calorie counts that make them more of a meal.

Square Snacks, developed by a nutritionist in Toronto, are designed to stop the growlies without filling you up. Each bar is about 100 calories, perfect for midafternoon sugar cravings or a pre-workout energy boost, and made in six tasty flavours from natural whole-food ingredients such as nuts, dried fruits and grains.
