Hardly Hardware
At Hogg Hardware, we didn't notice the paint and nails (in fact they’re hidden in the basement), but we did make a beeline for pretty mending kits by 
Cath Kidston ($31.95), jolly pink Kamik rain boots, chocolate biscuits from Scotland, preppy Smartwool knee socks (from $24.99) and Mustard Bath from Barefoot Venus Vintage Collection ($19.99).
Went in for a hammer, came out with gourmet cookies. Finally, a hardware shop we can use.
