Goose on the Loose
How ironic that the winged Canada goose flies south when the ground starts to freeze and yet that is when we cling to the down-filled jackets of the Canada Goose the brand.
In the last decade, the Canuck company has gone from almost exclusively outfitting Arctic expeditions to being a favourite among warmth seeking celebs. It has a little to do with the cool factor of anything Canadiana and a lot to do with the company producing clothes that work. Canada Goose just released its Hybridge Lite collection designed with stretch fabric along the sides so you can wear it while busting a move on your cross-country skis or snowshoes. The down-filled jacket folds into its own pocket and weighs less than half a pound, which makes it the perfect travel companion.
Backcountry here we come, or maybe just a walk through downtown. It gets chilly there too. —Jaelyn Molyneux
