The Future is Friendly
With reading no longer requiring actual books and phones so tiny you could lose them in your jeggings pocket, we’re pretty sure the future has arrived. We’re just relieved that it still includes hamburgers.
At new downtown eatery iBurger, we ordered delicious burger combos off a Jetson-esque interactive table menu. We ploughed into the juicy lamb burger with blue cheese ($16.50), which was so delicious we almost crashed our hovercraft. For those of you who see meat as a thing of the past, there’s a fresh salmon sushi burger topped with mango and avocado and piled into a rice cake “bun” ($19.99) and an organic quinoa patty with mushrooms, spinach and goat cheese wrapped in crisp phyllo pastry that practically made us teleport right out of our seats.
What’s next? Robot waiters?—JN
