Flick Fare

Confessions of a Shopaholic might be worthy of popcorn and M&M’s, but we thought our screening of Che at Ex-Centris should be paired with more sophisticated fare.

For pre-movie nosh, we booked a table at Café Méliès where Executive Chef José Rodriguez’s new menu features plate after plate of foodie perfection. We flipped for the Quebec foie gras served with apple star anise chutney ($18), and the Kobe beef burger with Serrano ham and carmelized onions ($20) put to shame our regular choice of concession stand hotdogs.

As for the Tanzanian dark chocolate tart ($8)—it had us seeing stars.
