Fabric land
You can never go wrong with a classic leather tote, but every girl needs a few not-so-serious options too.
These ones from Grace Design are all whimsy and spirit. Inspired by Toronto designer Alison Gledhill’s exotic travels, the handbags are made from vibrant fabrics she’s picked up along the way. In this collection, vintage Japanese kimonos (scored at second hand shops in Tokyo) are mixed with leather to make bags that blend decoration and functionality.
And unlike that tote, it’s unlikely you’ll see another bag like yours about. —Athena Tsavliris
