Don't Sweat It
Does any grown woman really want to smell like baby powder, apple blossoms or anything tropical? Doubtful.
When it comes to signature scents, the drug store deodorant aisle is light years behind the fragrance counter. Motivated by curiosity, rave reviews and a finished stick mid heat wave, we splurged on Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist anti-perspirant/deodorant ($28).
Verdict? It’s pricey, yes, but the odour/wetness protection is as good as the clinical strength formulas we’re used to, the scent is stellar with notes of jasmine, bergamot and amber, and the sleek packaging is totally display-worthy.
We never could resist cashmere. —Christine Laroche
