Are there any rising stars that we should watch out for?

Jessica Biffi, the runner-up on Project Runway Canada is showing—she brings a lot of colour and positivity to the runway, I can't wait to see her show. Katrina Tuttle is coming from the East Coast: she's very young, self-taught and has an assured sense of taste, I'll be watching out for her.

How do you survive a week’s worth of non-stop blogging, tweeting and schmoozing?

I stop every so often.  I don't try to attend every single show. And I don't stay out too late – it’s better to get up early and get the posting done in the AM.


What would you suggest a newbie on the fashion circuit not leave home without?

Business cards! Pretty ones. An old-fashioned pen and pad of paper is nice to have too.
