Bloomin’ Marvelous

April showers bring May flowers, but while we wait for our daffs to pop, we’re busily filling jam jars with ranunculus, hydrangeas and fresh mint.

At Parkdale’s Coriander Girl, you’ll find a lovely assortment of seasonal blooms, as well as pretty apothecary jars to put them in.

Owner Alison Westlake is charming and warm, and has a keen eye for whimsical, offbeat pieces, such as an antique cash register or a lovely white vase from Oregon-based Pigeon Toe.

Erin Candela’s hand painted cards are hard to resist and so is the honey from Prince Edward County.

What could be sweeter than honey and flowers?
