Today was the day that I decided half of my wardrobe needs to go back under the bed. A quick morning of outings, and I froze my ass off. We're already talking MITTS! (Vancouver editors cannot relate). Montreal, you know what I'm talking about. Sorry for whining, Calgary.

Branding is a big deal in business. As sick as I am of the word, not even I can ignore its importance.
How do people feel about your brand? Do they feel reassured by its professionalism, or irked by a business owner who doesn't feel confident enough to play the game?

TIFF is known for many things, and sometimes the least of which is the films. It's a sad reality, but gifting is a big story every year. I figure that if you look at gift lounges as the stars simply being thanked for their hard work in the film, it makes your stomach hurt a little less...

A little bling can be pretty forgiving. Remember this when you're trying to pull yourself together for TIFF this week, and are running on 2 hours sleep and 22 americanos.

I'm pounding back the Haagen Daas, eating every chicken finger in sight, deep frying my pickles, and and having bacon sandwiches for dessert.
It's summer, and I'm always an awful summer eater. Sun just makes me want to eat junk, so I always gain weight, but I'm always happy.

This year, more than ever, it feels like Converse is really starting to diversify.
Once famous solely (ha!) for chuck nation, they now have moccasins (!?), winter boots, superheroes, and a large toddler line. What's next? High heels? (Actually they've already done wedges).
