For the month of July, I've enrolled in Booty Camp to help turn some wobbly bits rock hard, or at the very least a little less wobbly, and I'll be blogging about it here on the Editors' Diary.

Not far from the Vitamin Daily offices, my pops has a piece of his artwork displayed in the front window of the Leighdon Studio Gallery.

For me, it's all about the staycation this summer, so I packed my weekender and headed to Sakinaw Lake Lodge on the Sunshine Coast for respite and resplendent BC beauty.

Lest I, in a haze of relaxation, forget where the water is, there's a lovely sign in my suite to point me in the right direction. 

In town to perform at Lilith, musician Grace Potter of Grace Potter and The Nocturnals sat down with me to talk music and then some. She hails from Vermont and is something of a modern day Tina Turner-cum-Janis Joplin with serious pipes and rad rocker style.

When I turned up at Milano Coffee to interview singer Grace Potter, we discovered we were like-minded when it came to leopard print (her shirt, my shoes).

A weekend in Harrison-Agassiz took me back. First there was the bubble gum.

Check out the Chic Prints in action. I gave the fuschia fishnet pattern a go. Applying them really was a piece of cake. So fast and fun in fact that I snapped up the nautical stripes 'n' anchors set for next time.

I'm guessing most of Vancouver was at a beach this weekend. Hello Summer, we hope you're here to stay.

I sat down with some fellow foodies and journos to taste the new brunch menu at YEW Four Seasons that just launched this past weekend. When we weren't eating, we were taking pictures or tweeting (or both) about the fabulous food. Yes, it's a hard job, but someone's got to do it.
