Belle Chanel

September 27th, 2010

Right on the heels of our Karl sighting in New York, right here at home the new Chanel boutique at Holt Renfrew unveiled its new look with a swish soirée. Pearls and more pearls, chain belts and  pastel tweed were the accessories of choice—oh, and those massive black shopping bags we saw go out with many of the guests.

Dine and Dash

September 27th, 2010

We stumbled upon this great new diner at Main Street's car-free fall party on Saturday. Their strawberry brain-freeze was the perfect way to beat the heat and the modern/retro decor keeps it real.

Open 24/7 starting on Wednesday. Check out the menu at http://lucyseastsidediner.com

Plastic, Fantastic

July 30th, 2010

Let me float an idea by you. Suspend a dining room over water with empty pop bottles, add high-end decor, haute cuisine, 12 seats and 60 days. That's the concept behind the School of Fish Plastic Dining Room and we were lucky enough to be one of the very first diners.
