Just in time for Valentine's Day, CTV anchor and uber-mom Tamara Taggart provided this easy sugar cookie icing recipe that will make your cookies look like they were baked by a pro. Weren't they?

Choose as many colours as you like for the food colouring.

Ingredients:

1 cup of confectioners' sugar

2 teaspoons milk

2 teaspoons light corn syrup

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

A variety of food colouring

Method:

1. Combine confectioners' sugar and milk and stir until smooth. Beat in corn syrup and almond extract until icing is lump free. Add more corn syrup if the consistency is too thick.

2. Separate icing into bowls, and add food colouring to each to create the glossy hue you want. Decorate cookies with a brush—and love!
