The lengendary Army & Navy shoe sale starts tomorrow at 8am, but we got to sneak in and check out some of the stock a day before it hits the floor.

The shoe sale is BIG. How big? There are 103, 246 pairs of shoes in the sale, and at any one time, 30,000 pairs on the shop floor. They have one of the biggest shoe departments in Canada. The sale goes on for twelve days, but 40% of the stock gets sold on day one (tomorrow!)

The boxes had just arrived, sorted by size and brand. The footwear buyer, Silvio Urbani, showed us around. Here he, is showing off a great summer wedge.

Here are a couple of the shoes we'd like to take home tomorrow.

Some pairs (like the sparkly ones above) are in limited quantities, but Silvio says that his classics (he calls them Kate Middleton shoes, see below) are brought in by the thousand. 

The sale starts tomorrow at 8am, but there will be a line up long before the doors open. And once you are inside, you had better be fast. Although Silvio has  assured us there won't any catfights (unless you are a size 9 and you are holding a shoe I want.)

The best part? Nothing is over $40. Now THAT's a reason to get up early and line up.
