Party People
March 30th, 2009
It was Juno weekend in Vancouver, which means one thing: Parties! (We needed help to erase the image of Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger's mom bob.) Friday night we hit the Nettwerk Records open house held in a tented space behind their office. Sumac Ridge kept the wine flowing and C restaurant passed around tasty nibbles (we loved the sliders). Hey, a girl's gotta eat.
The Gold Standard: We snuck a picture of the gold record wall...they were hanging everywhere!

What's the difference between Barenaked Ladies and plain old Naked Ladies?
We're not sure, but Barenaked Ladies singer Ed Robertson was super sweet and friendly. Here is is with a very pretty (and clothed) lady.

Vitamin Daily reporting for partying duties. From left: Intern Mikki Foxx, promotions coordinator Leith Irvine and ambassador Lisa Toffolo (who played photographer most of the night).

Vancouver editor Joy gets into the groove with her harmonica necklace. She's no one note wonder.

Pump Up the Volume: The Hotmess.org duo, Blondtron and Kay Kill, worked the room. These DJs/bloggers/podcasters were definitely turning heads.

The party almost convinced us to switch our career path to rock star...but then we remembered we'd have to travel on a tour bus. We'll stick with being a fan, for now.
