Remember in Peter Pan when you just had to clap in order to make Tinkerbell appear?

Well I’m trying that with summer. And I’m hoping that if we all really truly believe and if we all wear summer dresses, then the sunny season might grace us with its presence.

I spent an evening at Banana Republic trying on their new crop of summer dresses and asking myself one of life’s toughest questions – should I choose pink or blue?

I opted for blue, which Sunny Shum (right) rocked as a tunic (so great for work).

And though I was tempted to pick a maxi dress like Niki Blasina’s (above), I decided a short little number would be much more appropriate for the blazing desert heat.

I’m too impatient to wait for summer so I’m heading down south to Coachella. I’ll see you soon, sunshine!
