After long days and nights in the city, a visit to the country was all I needed. The Windham Hill Inn was happy to oblige.

We were welcomed to our room with a chilled bottle of champagne and a lovely note from innkeeper, Katja.

Our room was in the loft of a beautifully renovated barn.

We spent hours exploring the property.

Followed by a delicious dinner in the elegant dining hall.

And met a lovely lady named Salsa.
