Cabana Sucre: Auberge du Lac Taureau
May 26th, 2010
Back when the weather was just a little to chilly to contemplate a nice swim in a Quebec Lake, I took a little road trip up to the Auberge du Lac Taureau to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Only 2-3 hours away from Montreal (depending on whether or not you get lost or sidetracked by roadside stands selling fresh doughnuts), Lac Taureau is a serene escape offering sandy beaches, sports and spas. But don't think you're staying in a log cabin and eating campfire food! Photos below by Carrie Macpherson.

The entire weekend had Carrie and I jumping for joy!

Now, to return in the summer with a beach towel, a bikini, and some coconut scented sunscreen...I'll dig my toes in the sand and pretend I'm in the Caribbean.
"Oh, Cabana boy!"
