Anthropologie Opens in Vancouver

May 12th, 2011

Yes, the day has finally come! We no longer have to take Anthropologie trips to Seattle to stock up on adorable dresses, crochet tops, cozy sweaters and aprons that make us want to take up daily cooking.

But the best thing about Anthropologie is probably not the clothes themselves, but the quirky interior design. And have you noticed how each store is different? That's because they each have their own in-store interior designer. We are happy to report that the Vancouver store is among the most spectacular of the ones we've seen.

The giant clock staircase made for a great stage to watch frantic shoppers run up and down carrying a million items of clothing.

Thankfully, they had yummy cupcakes and marshmallows to keep them fueled.

But, perhaps, the most ingenious part of the store was the linens corner, where this amazing rustic bed was nestled under a cocoon-like canopy.

We still have to go back and explore every single item of clothing. That might take a while -- there is so much!
